The Human Milk-Banking Association of North America (HMBANA) is a non-profit association of donor human milk banks that was established in 1985 to provide donor breastmilk to needy infants. Currently they are running the following notice on their site index.
Milk Donors are URGENTLY NEEDED. If you have extra milk, please contact your nearest HMBANA milk bank. HMBANA milk banks process donated human milk primarily for fragile and vulnerable infants to ensure they have an adequate and safe supply of this life-giving and life-sustaining supplement when mother’s own milk is not available.
If you are considering donating breastmilk please have a look at this organization. They do something incredibly special and they are the umbrella organization I would recommend as a first choice for those donors that qualify to work with them.
